As of right now, there have been some ups and downs with issues on the apartment but that happens with any apartment complex. They are still working on improving and makes Vox the overall best apartment. I love that they are always doing their best and trying to fix any problems that may come up but in a positive matter. Vox strives to have a good atmosphere and very clean apartment. There began to be floating chairs in the pool along with swings and couches for relaxing by the fire pit. As a couple weeks went by, there were loads of packing for the outdoor poor and sitting area. Maintenance is very on top of the orders that are listed through the resident portal. Vox gives you this link to fill out if there is anything wrong with your apartment. Once I moved into the apartment, I knew that the apartment itself wasnt completely finished. I moved into a 2/2 apartment complex at Vox on August 1st. Also, after looking through these reviews, I know for a FACT that multiple of the five star reviews are from people who are employees here. Now that I have touched upon the management issues, the apartment building itself is also extremely filthy, with trash lining the hallways, and an infinitely lingering musty odor. To sum my statement up, the Vox management, are completely useless and disrespectful, and think that they are above college students, even though it is apparent that I, a 20 year old, have an IQ at least twice as high as theirs. He renewed his lease, so since you were the one moving out, you were the one who gets charged.” At first glance, this sentence seems like a meaningless statement, but as someone with any intelligence at all, it is very apparent that they were favoring the roomate due to the fact that he renewed his lease with them. When my boyfriend suggested that his roomate put all of this trash into his bedroom after he had moved out, the management said “Well he wasn’t the one moving out. When my boyfriend called management about this issue, they essentially acted as though he was lying, and dismissed him. His roomate, who he was randomly assigned by this building, was the obvious culprit, as he was the only one still living there after everybody else had moved out. His items that he moved out of his apartment did not even fit into 11 trash bags, and any person with common sense would know that it would take MONTHS for that much trash to accumulate, not one singular move-out session. As if this wasn’t enough, after he had moved out, he received an email saying he was being charged $275 for ELEVEN bags of trash in his bedroom. When he sought assistance from management on this issue, they were completely unhelpful, even though they were liable for this robbery. As a result of this, when he returned, he had over $500 missing in brand new kitchen utensils, pots and pans, and dishes. When they did this check, they left his bedroom door, which had been previously locked up when he left, wide opened and and unlocked. My boyfriend lived in this apartment for a year, and when he went home for two months, the building had the fire marshals come through to do a check. This complex genuinely has the absolute worst management possible. If I could give this complex 0 stars, I would not hesitate to do so.
